I AM THE NEW PANTOKRATOR, BEND THE KNEE OR SUFFER MY WRATH ! T75

The last ceremony to open the power of the Throne of the Moon for Lord Kall was a bit special compared to the others. Every attendant knew that it was the beginning of a new era and that nothing would ever be the same.

Kubrat, as strange a creature as he was, knew his part. Calling upon the divine energies, he connected himself to Lord Kall’s Soul into the divine dimension. His particular sight was one that few privileged beings could have. In that dimension, Lord Kall’s Soul was radiating a sweet blue light … and that sweetness could be deceiving to someone expecting something more powerful, more brutal. But as sweet as it was, it hid in its center an incredible power that was only waiting to be awoken. Departing from that center, several dark blue cords were connecting it to the Thrones and a slow energy was pulsing from them to the center.

As the ceremony grew up, with the chants of the gathered commanders of Helheim, a new cord slowly appeared connecting Lord Kall’s Soul to the Throne of the Moon. At first a bright silver light made the connection before changing to another dark blue cord. Then, the slow energy pulse going from the Thrones to Lord Kall began to go faster, and faster, and faster until it became a continuous flow of raw magic, awakening the power hidden in the center.

Lord Kall was sitting on the Throne of Autumn when this was happening, surrounded by many of his followers that, like every priest of Helheim, were praying and chanting in deep devotion. He felt in his soul how something incredible was about to happen, and for a time he was terrified of it. That couldn’t be true, such power could not exist !!!

Suddenly, his Divine nature cracked open and where was sitting Lord Kall a second ago was shining an incredibly beautiful blue light. And that light grew in power more, and more, and more, up to the brightness of a sun. The people praying and chanting went into an even deeper trance, giving themselves entirely to this light … and as suddenly as it had appeared, it disappeared.

Lord Kall was no more of this world … he had become The World itself. He was the consciousness and soul of everything, knew everything, saw everything. His former human life looked tiny, completely irrelevant compared to what he was now … just a second in a lifetime that was just beginning.

And then a new moon will rise with the colors of autumn
A brass moon that will bring peace and stability …
to you My Lord, and to the whole world …

As a first action of his new reign he banished the Desert Lion back to his former desert as he should have never left it. He banished too Grim the Crone to the dark abysses of Tartarus. Such an ambitious and cunning being was not welcomed in his new world. He then instigated a law that prohibited the use of Blood magic now and forever. As a result, the Fountain of Blood was given a choice : either to renounce his current lifeform to become a Fountain Oracle, or spend the rest of its “life” in Tartarus along with all the other banished gods. Filled with disgust and hatred, he couldn’t renounce his true nature and finished his days in eternal suffering with his former enemies. Finally, the Archmage of Therodos was sent into the Darkest abyss of the Ocean, where he would stay imprisoned to the end, guarded by Titanic Jellyfishes.

Of the other pretenders, the Dracolich of Niefelheim quickly recognized his new master and joined him as a general of his armies, along with the Fire Dragon of Ulm. Most of the other pretenders did the same and the others stupid enough to rebel were quickly put to death: enough mercy had been given in banishing his most powerful enemies, the weaker ones had to bow, or die.

When his power was settled, Lord Kall then resurrectd Nemok, the god of Ur, once again. Lord Kall had been impressed by his fighting spirit during the war and he wanted him by his side. As a result, he appointed him Guardian of the Faith, a duty that was given only to the most loyal.

And then began a long reign, of this World, and all of the Universe … but that’s another story.
