Glossary

Dominions 5 players use a lot of acronyms to speak about the game. I’ve tried to avoid them as much as possible, but in case i’ve missed some, here’s a glossary about them.

A : Air magic
AAR : After Action Report
AI : Artifical Intelligence
Alt
: The magic school of Alteration
B
 : Blood magic
Blood : The magic school of Blood
chaff : Weak troops used in battle to take damage and/or overwhelm the enemy with numbers, while the elite units/the mages are busy taking out the enemy units
Conj : The magic school of Conjuration
Const : The magic school of Construction
CR : Cold Resistance
D : Death magic
E : Earth magic
Ench : The magic school of Enchantment
Evo : The magic school of Evocation
F : Fire magic
FR : Fire Resistance
H : Holy magic
HP : Health points
MP
: Movement Points or Multi Player
MR : Magic Resistance
PD : Province Defense
PR : Poison Resistance
N : Nature magic
NAP : Non Agression Pact
NAP-3 : Non Agression Pact with 3 months of ensured peace should one party break it
prot : Protection (i.e. the effective armor of a unit/commander)
RP : Research Points, also used to say “the nation overall research level”
S : Astral magic
SC : Super Caster / Super Combatant : a very powerful commander able to beat alone strong armies
SP : Single Player
SR : Shock Resistance
Thau : The magic school of Thaumaturgy
Thug : A powerful commander, either by itself or with added equipment, able to take down alone small PD or small armies
W : Water magic
